Chocolate Protein Hot Breakfast Cereal (Gluten Free)

If you're in need of a warm, filling comfort breakfast this one is for you.


  • 3 cups water⠀
  • 1 cup Bob’s Red Mill buckwheat hot cereal (or other coarse ground buckwheat groats)⠀
  • 4 Tbsp maple syrup (using a lower carb sweetener such as xylitol is an option)⠀
  • 3 Tbsp Kerrygold butter⠀
  • 1 scoop Active Stacks chocolate protein powder
  • Pinch of salt⠀

Cook on medium high heat stirring often until thickened to the desired consistency. Top with blueberries, walnuts and bananas or other toppings of your choice. Serves 3-4
